The eccentric shaft of jaw crusher rotates once, and the jaw plate back and forth once. Therefore, the rotational speed of the eccentric shaft per minute is the number of oscillations of the jaw plate per minute. Eccentric shaft speed is one of the main performance parameters of the jaw crusher. The speed directly affects the productivity, specific power consumption and the content of over-crushed products, so the main shaft rpm is the main factor of the jaw crusher.
The eccentric shaft is the main shaft of jaw crusher. It is made of high carbon steel with great bending torque. The eccentric part shall be finished, heat treated and the bearing bushing shall be poured with babbitt alloy. One end of the eccentric shaft is equipped with a belt wheel and the other end with a flywheel. Because the eccentric shaft is more complex in processing, the eccentric installation of some jaw crusher is composed of the main shaft and the eccentric sleeve. In the eccentric sleeve, the body and the main shaft also follow an eccentric motion track every time the eccentric sleeve rotates.
